Go out - get some green beer - and guaranteed if you're in a Canadian Pub - you'll hear Home for a Rest from Spirit of the West. I can not listen to this song without thinking of a pub and my younger years. And of course, the reference to Charing Cross Road which is where my parents live and I grew up [albeit in Charing Cross Ontario, not London, England - but close enough!]

Ahh yes. Being a tried-and-true Maritimer, this song always makes me home-sick, it was always part of our "getting ready to go out" routine. I hope you have a fun St. Paddy's Day!
