on the hunt | a new bag and boots

After years of use [10+ to be exact], my leather satchel has carried it's last load.  It's pretty much fallen apart everywhere - but I love this back - it was with me through college and all the various firms I've worked at - with scuffs, tears and ink blots to prove it.  I'm on the hunt for a new bag to act as purse & brief case - large enough to carry around a laptop, notebook and some files, but light enough and small enough to double as a purse when I need it to.  I've found these from Roots that are all strong contenders. [PS. Have you seen the video for the fall line they have on their opening page?  Who actually has had a day like this frollicking through the surf, meadows and mountains?  With perfect hair and makeup to boot?]

And while I was shopping at Roots, I also fell in love with their boots and shoes that are a throwback to the boots of the late 90's.  Please tell me I'm not the only one excited to see the Chukka back.
